Elspeth is a fully qualified horticulturalist and an award winning garden designer with extensive experience in design. She qualified in Horticulture and Garden Design with Triple Distinction at Brooksby Melton College in 2009 and was awarded Best Student by the Institute of Horticulture in the same year. Elspeth is passionate about design and experimenting with different plant combinations and her talents have won her Gold, Best in Category and Silver Gilt for her three RHS show gardens. In 2018 Elspeth designed the show garden for John Deere to celebrate their centenary of tractor manufacture.
Elspeth also loves to write Blogs on all sorts of aspects of garden design and horticulture. When she isn’t designing or writing she loves walking our black Labrador, Finlay. She also loves body boarding.
Designer and Landscaper, BA (Hons) Fine Art
Paul qualified in Fine Art with BA (Hons) from the Winchester School of Art in 1987. With his training in Fine Art, he brings an invaluable artist's eye to our designs.
Paul teaches part-time at Loughborough University School of Arts. He has a real passion for crafting with wood and has designed and built beautiful bespoke garden features for clients over the years. Our portfolio features some of his recent projects. Paul is also a regular contributor to our Blogs, Newsletters and Village Link Magazine.
Paul is a keen bird watcher and lover of wildlife. He is also a talented drummer and plays regularly for the Belvoir Big Band, which raises money for good causes.
